A Moët & Chandon "water" cooler is this week's covetable Most Loved

We’re in a celebratory mood here at AnOther HQ. After the recent launch of AnOther Magazine Issue 21, signing off Another Man issue 13 due out on September 29, Dazed & Confused’s 20th anniversary and tonight’s Dazed TV Launch Party – can we give you any more reasons as to why the AnOther Love of the week, Moët & Chandon ‘on tap’, would be perfect for office?

Established in 1743 by Claude Moët, Moët & Chandon is one of the world’s largest champagne producers, co-owner of the luxury goods company LVMH and holds a Royal Warrant to supply champagne to Elizabeth II. Owning more than 2,500 acres of vineyards, each year Moët & Chandon annually produce an estimated 26,000,000 bottles of champagne and provides drinks for the stars at events such as the Oscars, Golden Globes, Canne Film Festival and various other high end events. Note: make sure you don’t mispronounce Moët as mo-way and mow-ee. The correct pronunciation is in fact mo-wett or m-wet as the word is pronounced in Dutch, not French.

Popular culture references to champagne are rife with a long lasting association with James Bond, a frequent drinker of Champagne prestige cuvées. A count of over 22 Bond films reveals 35 occasions on which the character was portrayed drinking Champagne. And in the song Killer Queen by Queen, Freddie Mercury is quoted as saying "She keeps Moët et Chandon in her pretty cabinet."

As we clear away the empty bottles of Krug champagne from Tuesday night’s issue launch dinner and party in New York and put out the full bottles for tonight’s Dazed TV Party event at Rankin’s studio, we speak to the AnOther and Dazed's Natasha Meradji about all things celebratory and her choice of Moët & Chandon ‘on tap’.

Why did you choose to love it?
Even though it is likely to be filled with water and not Moët I think that it's definitely something every office should invest in!

Where would you keep yours if you owned one?
Right next to my bed with a very long straw attached to the tap.

What’s your favourite beverage and where do you drink it?
Rum! Any time, any place.

When was the last time you had champagne and on what occasion?
Every Sunday with breakfast in bed, doesn't everyone?...

What’s the best party you’ve been to and why?
Any party hosted by Dazed – we know how to party! AnOther's 10th birthday cake party at Selfridges was pretty amazing, a guy came out of a revolving cake singing happy birthday and there was a pop up sweet shop with lots of crazy treats and  interesting shots.

What was the last thing you bought?
A metallic A-line dress (watch out London Fashion Week)

What’s your favourite online shop?
eBay, Topshop or Net-a-porter when I like to admire things I can't quite afford.
