A fashion story about twisted seduction, burlesque, pornography and the beauty of Guinevere Van Seenus

Olivier Rizzo describes his style using single words and singular ideas: "Construction. Deconstruction. Proportion. Emotion. Sexuality. Schizophrenia. Poetry. History. Present." Talking about his shoot for AnOther Magazine with photographer Paolo Roversi and model Guinevere Van Seenus, he is similarly direct. “The idea was twisted seduction, burlesque, pornography, and the amazing beauty of Guinevere herself," he explains. "She is incredibly feminine and sexy, and she has amazing body-language." With a background in fashion design, it seems appropriate that Rizzo's approach to styling is chiefly concerned with the intimate dynamic between the body and clothing, and how one should flow into the other. "The fashion becomes one with the body, where dressed is undressed, and undressed is dressed," says the designer. “The clothes become the skin, and the skin becomes the clothes, so that pressed drapery recalls classic sculpture and couture shapes remain as a shadow on the body."
