The big question — how will you be seeing in the New Year? Spending time with nearest and dearest, eating and drinking, watching fireworks, here's what our contributors are planning...

Diane Pernet, one of our 2010 Guest Lovers: "Starting out with Soba noodles at YEN for prosperity and good health in 2011 with a friend and ending up with the fireworks by my house with same friend"

Harriet Walker, columnist for In The Cut: "I'm having a party at my house for New Year! I realise I'm mad for doing it and that in all likelihood no-one will come, but at least I won't have to stagger home in the snow"

Zoe Taylor, illustrator for In The Cut: "Partying in Hackney in a shiny gold Joan Collins dress (if I can find one without blowing the bank)"

Fred Butler, regular AnOther Loves contributor: "Nothing is going to top last year dressed as Rainbow Brite, chopping carrots for Patrick Wolf trying to cook stew dressed as a some kind of Renaissance royalty. Fingers crossed he has another last minute fancy dress Auld Lang Syne round the piano!"

Nancy Waters, editor of AnOther: "Dinner with friends and family, red wine, and an open fire"

Kin Woo, columnist for The Insiders: "Not drinking for a change"

Lucia Davies, editorial assistant of AnOther: "I'll be at the top of the mountain in Keystone, Colorado's Alpenglow Stube at 11,500 feet celebrating 2011 in front of a warm fire in fluffy slippers"

Sarah Volpi, regular AnOther Loves contributor: "I am going to spend New Years Eve in the company of some of my friends, have dinner together, maybe watch a movie and then celebrate till dawn!"

Laura Bradley, commissioning editor of AnOther: "Buy lots of amazing food (from St. John Bakery, Albion and The Grocery) and eat with my loved ones"

Agata Belcen, fashion editor of AnOther: "Dinner at my best friend's house"

Nobuko Tannawa, columnist for Incoming: "Staying in a cottage in Cornwall with my husband."

Zoe Maughan, picture editor of AnOther: "Enjoying the company of loved ones, venue TBC"

George Ghon, columnist for Menswear Confidential: "Getting snowed in in Austria"

Lena Brombacher, founder of The Olfactorialist, part of AnOther Reader: "Dinner with my boyfriend"
