Poppy Corby-Tuech is one of the talented musicians featured in the current issue of AnOther Magazine shot by Chadwick Tyler and styled by Katie Shillingford. After graduating from London College of Fashion with a degree in journalism and also working as a part time model she joined electro band White Rose Movement. Recording and touring with the band for two years they have since disbanded and she now plays keyboard in Genuflex. “Fashion has been on the brain since a very young age” says Poppy, and fittingly for her most Loved product she chose an extravagant pair of vibrant pink YSL heels. Although more likely to be seen dressed in all-black here Poppy lets the performer and more girly side of her out.

Why did you choose these YSL shoes?
I'm not a pink kind of girl in the slightest, in fact I practically live in black. But there was something about those outrageously pink, super soft YSL heels that brought out the girly girl in me. I especially love the mane along the heel and the beautifully elegant shape, which make me look at my black Spring Courts in absolute disdain.

What's the last thing you bought?
Bill Henson's Mnemosyne – the most stunning photography book by the Australian artist. And some cut glass goblets from a charity shop in Norfolk. I've just moved house so crockery is my new thing!

What's your most treasured possession?
Both my passport and my Jean Colonna jacket, two things that have traveled extensively with me for years and are in my eyes irreplaceable. The jacket was given to me years ago by a close friend and I almost never take it off. It's shiny and black and stretchy, goes with everything and has seen many places, faces and the funnest of times.

What's your favourite online shop?
I'm maybe a bit too old fashioned but I like to try clothes on before I buy them therefore online clothes shopping has never really been on my radar. However music is an obsession so the iTunes store is where I spend much of my time perusing and probably spending too much money.
