This Happy Monday our dose of weekly cheer comes in the form of these brilliant flags made up of traditional foods from each country

It's a fact: food art makes you feel good. A combination of two of life's greatest pleasures, it's a theme we've returned to many times in our Happy Monday column – from Food Art Pairings to Modern Art Desserts. This week's series is the result of a clever promotion for the Sydney International Food Festival by advertising agency WHYBIN\TBWA, who created various national flags using foods native to each country – hot dogs and mustard for the USA, a giant scone with cream and jams for Blighty and, more exotically, metallic-blue swimmer crab encased in sweet chilli sauce and shredded coconut for Thailand. We hope these give you a Monday lift, and provide some lunch break inspiration!

Happy Monday! #anotherhappymonday
