This week's dose of Monday cheer sees pieces of discarded plastic – old bottle tops, buttons, lids, items that one would normally dismiss as environmentally unfriendly eyesores – transformed into brilliant, colour coordinated artworks by French photographer Eddy de Azevedo. An homage to Rothko's iconic Colour Field paintings, these images represent one section of a four-part project, entitled "Walking My Dog," comprising works made from different things found by de Azevedo on his daily dog walk. These particularly caught our eye for their satisfying, orderly roundness and flag-like mixture of hues – we hope you like them too!
Happy Monday! #anotherhappymonday
