Brilliantly funny images of cats wearing tights have been popping up all over the internet lately, thanks to a craze begun by Tumblr Meowfit, where the owner of a cat named Gucci posts daily images of said cat comically elongated by a stuffed pair of tights. We couldn't help but notice that these images greatly evoked the spirit of artist Sarah Lucas' iconic Bunny series (1997) – a number sculptures from which are currently on display in the Whitechapel's retrospective of Lucas' work. Both series are worthy Happy Monday candidates in themselves, but we think they're even better combined and we hope you agree.
