Yesterday we debuted the cover of AnOther Magazine S/S13, featuring the beautiful Michelle Williams in a vintage feathered cloche, Junya Watanbe sweatshirt and ripped Levi’s jeans, and today we reveal more of the extraordinary exclusive interviews, off-kilter commissions and revelatory fashion stories that fill the pages, all weaving a tapestry around the theme of “home”.

A principal highlight is Susannah Frankel’s extended interview with Raf Simons, his most in depth since the designer took over at Christian Dior last year. Alongside stunning images of his S/S13 collection, shot by Willy Vanderperre and styled by Olivier Rizzo, Simons discusses his winding path in the world of design, and how he finally found his home within one of fashion's most iconic houses.

Editor-in-Chief Jefferson Hack travelled to the home of, arguably, the most vocal and visible artist in the world today, Ai Weiwei. The Chinese sculptor, architect, painter and video artist has, in recent years, seen his work destroyed, had his passport confiscated, created a Youtube video that became an international sensation and suffered house arrest. Here he speaks to Hack about political controversy and how his recent experiences have moved his sense of home from the physical to the cyber.

In addition, Hannah Lack travelled to Switzerland, to the home of the great artist Balthus, to meet his widow, the painter Countess Setsuko Klossowski de Rola. In the miraculous surroundings of Le Grand Chalet, they discussed the couple’s married life together and Setsuko’s work as a UNESCO Artist for Peace. And Jerry Stafford travelled into the jungles of Mexico to explore the tropical paradise and hideaway built by artist’s patron Edward James, the man Dalí described as “crazier than all the surrealists put together.”

An exclusive film with Michelle Williams will premiere tomorrow on anothermag.com.

The spring/summer issue of AnOther Magazine is out on February 14.
