For the fifteenth issue, themed around A New Romance, Another Man presents movie star, theatre legend and perennial fashion muse Willem Dafoe as the cover star for the Autumn/Winter issue, out today. Inside, Dafoe discusses the art of performance with his friend and collaborator Marina Abramovich, accompanied by a stunning photoshoot in Rome's magesterial Castello della Crescenza by photographer Willy Vanderperre, styled by creative director Alister Mackie.

Continuing the theme of Byronic heroes, troubled troubadours and Renaissance men, Hollywood’s favourite oddball and cult icon Crispin Glover opens the doors to his baroque chateau in the wilds of the Czech Republic for an exclusive tour around the sprawling property and his enigmatic mind. Ian McCulloch – the loud-mouthed frontman of iconic band Echo & the Bunnymen – enjoys some much-needed hair of the dog and proves he has lost none of his lip.

Elsewhere in the issue: Oscar Wilde and Frank Zappa come together for an impossible conversation; David Lynch mixes alchemical magic with Dom Pérignon champagne; artist Duggie Fields celebrates the style of Pink Floyd’s lost boy Syd Barrett; David Hockney pays homage to the master of landscapes Caspar David Friedrich;and The Pleasure Garden, a hand-picked collection of erotic engravings by Pablo Picasso. Plus: The Gentleman's Club, a 30-page document devoted to the luxurious world of private member’s clubs; Killing Time, an essay on romanticism, radicalism and reaction in the 21st Century by Tim Blanks; and this season’s top timepieces, selected by horology expert Alex Doak, alongside Autumn/Winter fashion shot by Alasdair Mclellan, Benjamin Alexander Huseby, David Armstrong, Ben Toms and Boo George.
