Danielle Waldman is stylist Joanna Schlenzka’s assistant. She lives in London with her cats and this week we picked her as AnOther’s Lover for her taxidermy dyed bunnies.
Why did you choose this item?
The dyed bunnies remind me of a Tim Walker photograph of pastel coloured cats, which I love. I'm always threatening my cat with a fur dye-job and a stuffing when he leaves this earthy life behind. What with it being Easter and all, bunnies (like eggs) are always representative of spring, life, birth and renewal and I thought it was funny because these bunnies are clearly... dead. Taxidermy is quite beautiful and chimes with my love for Victorian kitsch.

Things that friends have bought me. I always feel they have magical properties.
