For the second in a series of art project homages to our favorite beauty products, we enlisted Illustrator Alessio Nesi to interpret the spirit of Yves Saint Laurent’s tri-colour "Palette" through one of his whimsical sketches. Nesi describes his drawings as “fuelled by the power of elegance as make-believe and magic as an antidote to reality, in the elegantly naughty vein of Aubrey Beardsley and George Barbier." We love the way some of his monochrome crawlies are creeping right inside, apparently drawn to the delicate nude, rose and pink hues as much as we are.
