Today sees the launch of AnOther Magazine's spring/summer 2012 issue, celebrating the Stars of Now with cover star, actress and Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain. Inside, we showcase an Alexander McQueen special with stills from Catherine Sullivan's remarkable film featuring Kirsten McMenemy and Susannah Frankel's intimate conversation with Sarah Burton.

Alongside fashion stories for S/S12, we present a portrait of the visionary choreographer Pina Bausch through the dancers who knew her best, visiting them at their Wuppertal headquarters as they prepare to stage a daunting showcase of Bausch’s works in London – an unprecedented series that promises to be one of the highlights of the Olympic year. Jeffrey Sachs, the rock star of development economics and special advisor to Ban Ki-moon talks to the Business of Fashion’s Imran Amed about the Occupy movement, Obama, and how fashion can be a force for change.

This issue is the first of AnOther Magazine's global editions and this season sees a focus on China with Chinese model Sui He photographed by Ben Toms and styled by Robbie Spencer; Sarah Rutson fashion director of luxury department store Lane Crawford talks about the future of retail in China, rising Chinese designer Uma Wang and the Greta Garbo of Shanghai, Ruan Lingyu.
