Last night saw the launch of Tod’s No_Code, a capsule shoe collection created by Tod’s in collaboration with AnOther and Dazed & Confused co-founder and editor-in-chief Jefferson Hack.

Hosted by Hack and Diego Della Valle – grandson of Tod’s founder Filippo and the brand’s CEO – the exclusive event took place at Hotel Amour on the evening before today’s haute couture shows commenced. Guests – who included Suzy Menkes, Marianne Faithfull, Anna Dello Russo, Franca Sozzani, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Delfina Delettrez Fendi, Bruno Frisoni, Andre Saraiva and the Courtin-Clarins sisters – were invited to view the range as worn by models throughout the hotel in a variety of cleverly constructed live mise-en-scènes and still life displays.

The collection which Hack created in collaboration with Tod’s design team and artisanal craftsmen comprises four stripped-back styles for men and women in a range of eclectic, seasonal colours. “These shoes are about energy, movement, commitment to quality,” explained Hack, “It’s about pushing creative ideas, being free with yourself, laughing, making out, dancing and staying up until the sun rises…”

Guests and models indulged on champagne, cocktails and canapés to a soundtrack created by DJs Jonjo Jury and Yasmina Dexter and as the party went on late into the night, Hack’s ethos was definitely put into practice.

Tod's No_Code is available at all Tod's stores and will be exclusively debuted and sold at Dover Street Market in London, 10 Corso Como in Milan, colette in Paris and My Theresa in Munich to coincide with the fashion week calendar.
