Our what not to miss list for London Fashion Week

Day 1: Friday February 19

One to Watch: In his third consecutive season as a British Fashion Council NewGen Winner, Craig Lawrence’s A/W collection is inspired by nostalgia, decadence and decay, which are represented through his innovative knitwear pieces. His presentation is accompanied by a film by Mel Bles.

First Timer: This A/W, b Store debuts its first complete womenswear collection designed by Natasha Stolle. Inspired by classic country pieces, functionality and aristocracy are combined to create a varied presentation of the collection.

Day 2: Saturday February 20

Comeback: Ann Sofie Back returns after skipping last season’s schedule with a collection inspired by the online game phenomenon Second Life. By studying behavior in the virtual world, Back has produced a collection that embodies the desirable stereotypes favoured in the game.

Day 3: Sunday February 21

Emma Cook is having a film screening presentation of her collection at the Topshop Shop Show Space.

Day 4: Monday February 22

An exclusive ready-to-wear package based on the SS/10 Miu Miu runway show has been designed to emphasize and extend the message of the show. Comprising of embroidered, one of a kind, hand-made dresses, constructed as couture pieces, it will be on show all week in the New Bond Street store

Day 5: Tuesday February 23

Hi-Tech: This season, Burberry will be streaming their show live in 3D at simultaneous events around the world. Viewers at New York, Paris, Dubai, Tokyo and Los Angeles will experience the show’s atmosphere and energy in real time.

Milanese concept store, 10 Corsa Como and Liberty of London have collaborated to produce an exclusive range of S/S pieces, developed from the drawings of artist Kris Ruhs which were inspired by the riches of the Liberty archives. Tuesday marks the launch of the collection, which is held at Liberty.

Day 6: Wednesday February 24

Menswear day is going from strength to strength and has a back-to-back line up of serious menswear shows. In collaboration with Topman, Fashion East’s designers come together to display their debut collections through a range of different multimedia exhibitions.
