In honour of National Cherry Day, AnOther presents top 10 cherry-themed products...

Part of the rose family, the cherry is a delicate, fleshy fruit, originating from Eastern Europe and Western Asia. The name stems from ancient Greece and transates in Latin as 'for the birds'. A prominent symbol of Japanese culture, the blossoming cherry tree epitomises purity and earthly bliss, and a blossom infused tea is used in marriage ceremonies to symbolise good luck. When the blossom inevitably floats from the trees, it is representative of the perfect death. In Britain, National Cherry Day was created to raise awareness for the Cherry Aid Campaign, an organisation fighting for the upkeep and continuation of British cherry orchards. In the last 50 years Britain has lost 90% of its cherry orchards and now imports 95% of the cherries we eat. In honour of National Cherry day AnOther presents top 10 cherry-themed AnOther Loves...
