Jonathan Saunders' autumn/winter 2011 inspiration: "This image is by the British artist Euan Uglow. It is one of a handful of images he produced during the latter part of his career that used vibrant and saturated colour next to the alabaster skin of the female figure. I spent quite a lot of time studying the work of fashion photographer Paul Outerbridge who experimented with colour early on in his work and, like Uglow, worked a lot with the female nude."
