Architect-turned-photographer But-Sou Lai and Phillip Lim have closely collaborated for a number of seasons, with Lai photographing Lim's collections including the Five Years of Lim event in Bejing last December. This season, Lim used Lai's images of models through doorways and walking out of shot on the catwalk as his key reference point.
