Stephen Jones Millinery x Jasmin Vardimon x Ford Vignale

The concept of body mapping is explored through a graceful performance of hypnotic hand gestures and sinuous pen lines

Over four decades, Stephen Jones has firmly rooted himself as an icon of British style and culture. From his presence on the 70s Soho Blitz Club scene to his collaborations with houses across the fashion landscape, his distinctive and radical aesthetic has marked him as the world’s most celebrated milliner. In 2009, he curated an “anthology” of hats for the Victoria & Albert Museum that broke worldwide attendance records. His hats have been collected by galleries and museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Louvre.

Jasmin Vardimon has been a leading force in British dance theatre for 20 years, with a reputation for challenging, exciting and visually stunning dance. Born and raised on a Kibbutz in Israel, she moved to the UK after winning the British Council’s On the Way to London choreography award, and in the late 1990s founded the Jasmin Vardimon Company (previously Zbang). She has been Associate Artist of Sadler’s Wells since 2006, and throughout her career has been recognised with numerous prestigious awards.

Matthew Donaldson was born in London and has been working as a photographer in Paris, New York, Milan and London for the last decade and a half. His clients include magazines such as English, French, American and Japanese Vogue, Wallpaper*, AnOther Magazine, W and GQ. He has shot advertising campaigns for many clients including Sony, Coca-Cola and Louis Vuitton. He spends a considerable amount of time working at the luxury end of the still-life world, working with Loewe, Louis Vuitton, William Welstead and Mr Porter amongst others. In the last three years he has ventured into moving image and completed several films for NOWNESS and many television commercials in the United States for Target.
