Kate Moss stars in AnOther Magazine's first digital cover wearing a Burberry trench
A Kate Moss moment is upon us. Celebrating ten years since her first AnOther Magazine cover, Moss returns with four striking print covers (see them all here) for the new issue of AnOther Magazine, as well as a mesmerising digital cover which we are exclusively unveiling here today.
The pioneering digital moving cover, the first in AnOther Magazine's history, was created by leading filmmaker Ruth Hogben and AnOther's fashion director Katie Shillingford. "Kate was iconically beautiful, as ever," says Hogben.
The digital cover for AnOther Magazine was created in collaboration with Burberry, a British brand Moss has a longstanding relationship with. In the moving cover, Moss appears wearing a black patent Burberry trench coat. "We shot against rain so the wet droplets would catch the light and add another layer of texture," explains Shillingford. "Film is such a different medium to still photography. It’s exciting to explore how we can use it in new ways and how the fashion can play a part in the imagery in such an interactive way. Kate has such a brilliant, uplifting energy, her movements in the various shiny silhouettes dance across the screen to hypnotic effect."
Moss also stars in the British house's new campaign, My Burberry, alongside Cara Delevingne, wearing the Sandringham trench coat.
