Day 7 of New York fashion week brought longer hemlines and lighter hues from Proenza Schouler, compared to the brand’s previous season. Particular highlights came in the form of acid-coloured and stiffly woven loose-hanging dresses, and matted tweed jackets in a bonded mix of white and fluorescent. The rest of the S/S11 collection came in  complementary soft pinks, peaches and lavenders, which overall cut a mature silhouette on the runway.
