Mies van der Rohe chocolate sofa

Architecture and fashion design student Lilli Maunula posted a chocolate sofa by German-American architect Mies van der Rohe on AnOther Loves this week.

This week Finnish architecture and fashion design student, Lilli Maunula posted this chocolate sofa by German-American architect Mies van der Rohe. Alongside Le Corbusier, Mies developed a modernist design style that would define the post First World War era.

Why did you choose the sofa?
In my first year of university Mies was a big inspiration, and I learnt a lot about the seriousness and disciplines of architecture and design. Now years later I still love architecture and respect it. And making things out of chocolate is the right approach.

What was the last thing you bought?
I bought an Indian wooden ring from a friend's shop in Helsinki.

What is your most treasured possession?
Probably my Yves Saint Laurent jewellery; I love their accessories.

What is your favourite online shop?
I've only bought something for myself online once, and that was a book. But I go to Net-a-Porter to buy for my friends.
