In the past year, we've celebrated the special days of fashion director Katie Shillingford and editor Nancy Waters, as well as highlighting iconic designs by those Azzedine Alaïa, Jil Sander and Alexander McQueen. So it will come as no surprise that this week's Most Loved post on the AnOther Loves stream is Margherita Missoni's beautiful dress, worn last weekend when she married her racing car driver fiancé Eugenio Amos.
The flower embelished dress was designed by Missoni herself, with guidance from her mother Angela and close friend Giambattista Valli, inspired by an image she had saved from a magazine 15 years ago. The dress was made by a local dressmaker from Missoni's hometown of Brunello using Missoni silk and organza and was worn with a silver tiara. In the evening, the new Mrs Amos changed into a blush pink version of her wedding gown, worn with a daisy-chain headpiece.
The ceremony took place at the church of Santa Maria Annunciata in Brunello, followed by a reception at Angela Missoni's nearby estate, where guests including the entire Missoni clan, Carine Roitfeld, Charlotte Olympia Dellal, Franca Sozzani and Mario Testino enjoyed entertainment from a gypsy band, acrobats and a fortune teller.

Why did you choose to love Margherita Missoni’s wedding dress?
I really like her – she is so cute and nice and she is not the cliché of the it girl or "daugher of..." And she had a beautiful wedding!
What are the ingredients to a great wedding?
Love, friends, family, good food (not too much), good wine (too much) good music, location (a big house or a castle, ideally near the sea). And a bit of drama – an appearance from the ex who tried to slept with the best friend...
Who would design your dream wedding attire?
Lanvin or Balanciaga.
What would your ultimate wedding location be?
When i was looking for my villa in Sicily, I found a big castle with 15 rooms, surrounded by fields with lemon trees, three minutes walk from the sea.
What do you like most about Missoni?
I love the spirit of the brand. This history and family are fantastic.
Will you be going on holiday this summer?
I am going to rent a villa in Sicily near Siracuse, close to the sea and will be joined by lots of friends.
