A couple of millennia later, the Cartier family purchased their first New York headquarters for $100 and a double-strand necklace of 128 perfectly matched natural pearls, a bounty then worth the equivalent of $20 million. This year, Jimmy Choo is celebrating 30 years – an anniversary marked as pearl, which is also one of the house’s enduring trademarks. Hence the fact they’ve crusted the white satin of this Cinderella-ish Sana mule with various sizes from seed to truly gobstopper. Just don’t throw them before swine.
