Debuting a pastoral collection inspired by picnics in the French countryside, Longchamp brought together friends and family for a whimsical meal at London’s Garden Museum
On Thursday night (13 February) at the Garden Museum, set within the beautifully restored medieval church in Lambeth amid angular bronze-clad pavilions, fashion and society came together to celebrate Longchamp’s brilliant Spring/Summer 2025 collection, Live Green, with a fabulous dinner and drinks.
The new collection is a love letter to the French countryside, the nation from where the label hails, weaving together a sense of rustic charm with understated elegance. Breezy checkered fabrics conjure memories of sun-drenched picnics, and crisp white cotton blouses and effortlessly chic overalls offer a relaxed sophistication to the summer season. As expected from Longchamp, there’s a focus on bags, and this season brings the iconic La Cabas in a fresh, contemporary silhouette, while the beloved Le Roseau line is reimagined in bold hues and unexpected textures.
Guests were immersed in a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable dining experience crafted by celebrated chef Skye Gyngell and her daughter Evie Henderson, who together designed a menu inspired by the pastoral essence of the new collection. Within the serene surroundings of the Garden Museum, the meal echoes the collection’s earthy tones and vibrant hues.

For dessert, Skye’s signature theatrical tables made their striking appearance, adorned with whimsical cabbage cakes vegetable jellies and the finest locally sourced fruits. Spanning the full scope of sensory delights, as the final course was unveiled, the atmosphere was elevated by a live orchestra, performing an exclusive score and curated playlist by the renowned French composer Thomas Roussel.
Guests in attendance included Emma Appleton, Douglas Booth, Amelia Spencer, Eliza Spencer, Shalom Brune Franklin, Maisie Peters, Jessica Plumber, Olivia Neil, Rina Lipa, and Nell Mescal, in addition to Evie Henderson, Lola Bute, Camille Charriere, Clara Paget, Emelia Boateng, Tigerlily Taylor, Bea Fresson, Jazzy Di Lisser, Ruby Seer, Hana Cross, Elena Ora, Nadia Parkes, Mary Charteris and Isan Elba who were wearing the new collection.
