This year marks the 20th year and 40th issue of AnOther Magazine. Alongside our Spring/Summer 2021 issue, which represented a love letter to fashion and the people who work so tirelessly within it, figures from across the worlds of art, music, fashion and film were invited to send our editorial director Jefferson Hack and editor-in-chief Susannah Frankel a birthday message. The response was phenomenal, spanning handwritten letters, photographs, drawings and even paintings. These messages were collated in a special book for Jefferson and Susannah and presented to them as a surprise. Naturally, we couldn’t help sharing a selection of our favourite submissions – some of which clearly took a considerable amount of time and effort. They are a testament to the world Jefferson and Susannah have created at AnOther and the community that we as a magazine are so grateful for.
