The world is a very different place than it was a year ago, when designers last revealed their spring/summer campaigns. In these past twelve months of loss and isolation, where a ‘new normal’ feels nothing like normal at all, the fashion industry has been forced to adapt, and in many cases has done so in brilliant ways – from innovative digital fashion shows to charitable initiatives. As we head into a spring still cooped up in our homes, we round up the the best campaigns of the Spring/Summer 2021 season, which encompass transporting escapist visuals in far-flung locations, themes of hope amid the hardship of these times, and simply beautiful photographic works by the likes of Glen Luchford, Rafael Pavarotti, Renell Medrano, and more.
