The designer has an H&M collaboration arriving this spring

If you’re a fan of Simone Rocha’s romantic designs, make sure to mark March 11 in your diaries: the celebrated Irish designer has been tapped by H&M as their latest luxury collaborator, with what’s sure to be one of the year’s most highly-anticipated collections.

Following in the footsteps of Rei Kawakubo, Martin Margiela, Donatella Versace, and more, Rocha’s partnership with the high street behemoth will offer the designer’s opulent pieces at a much more affordable price point, allowing a wider audience to access her world.

Announced yesterday with a series of teaser images and a short film, the collection boasts many of the hallmark silhouettes and beautiful fabrics the Rocha brand has become synonymous with: seersucker cotton, heavy brocade, pearl accents, floral embroidery and tulle.

In the short film, Rocha shares her excitement about the inclusive outing, while members of the designer’s creative family – Adwoa Aboah, Tess MacMillan, and Daisy Edgar-Jones, and stylist Robbie Spencer – share what her designs means to them. “She just gets better and better,” says Aboah. “I just feel this is a celebration of everything she’s about.”
