Exclusive: The British brand introduces Pringle Reissued, a capsule collection recreating off-kilter knits from its 1980s archive

Originally derived from the tartan of Clan Campbell of Argyll in western Scotland, the Pringle argyle has been favoured by royalty (the Duke of Windsor in the 1920s) and rebels (the punks of the 1970s) alike. Hollywood film stars – such as Joan Crawford, Grace Kelly, and Jean Simmons – were fans, along with golfers too, while the style has additionally been adopted by casuals and college students too – further demonstrating its wide-ranging appeal.

Today, exclusively on AnOthermag.com, Pringle of Scotland introduces Pringle Reissued: a capsule collection of off-kilter knits based on its 1980s archive – including jumpers, cardigans, and T-shirts, in addition to socks and ‘soft accessories’.

To celebrate, the brand invited London-based photographer and filmmaker Joshua Gordon to photograph the collection on some of London’s coolest models – a cast which includes Palace’s Lucien Clarke and Lennon Gallagher, as well as Kasper Kapica, Tara Lily, Jyrell Roberts, and Gordon’s partner and muse, Jess Maybury.

Out now, Pringle Reissued offers some truly enviable knits – just in time for autumn.
