This year has been one of exciting new Instagram initiatives for AnOther Magazine, from @anotherloves – our chic stream of desirable objects, launched earlier this month – to our series of Saturday takeovers by AnOther's friends and collaborators. Kickstarted by Another Man fashion director and Halloween obsessive Ellie Grace Cumming – who brought us a ghoulish array of iconic horror film posters – we have since teamed up with the likes of collage artist Sammy Slabbinck and brilliant book purveyors IDEA Books to discover some of their secret passions and inspirations. Here, we look back at some of our favourites so far.

As Sammy Slabbinck's new exhibition opened at Michael Hoppen Gallery, the surrealist collage artist revealed three works of art that have informed his idiosyncratic practice, including Storm Thorgerson's mysterious album cover for Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here and a one-piece eye-glass from fellow Belgian Surrealist Marcel Mariën.

Photographer Polly Brown bestowed the @anothermagazine feed with her typical wit and charm in a handy three-part guide to dealing with your problems – think not-so-subtle disguises and get-away vehicles.
To coincide with COP21, Instagram eco-warrior Glacier Girl chose three artworks that tackle the key themes surrounding climate change. From a panoramic supermarket shot by Andreas Gursky, exploring the effects of gross mass consumption, to Taryn Simon's Paperwork and the Will of Capital: An Account Of Flora as a Witness to highlight the importance of looking to nature as a reactor to global warming and using this as an impetus for change.
