If anything is likely to brighten up a chilly Monday morning, it's heart-warming Instagram account @harlowandsage. Harlow, an enormous, cuddly Weimaraner, and Sage, an adorable black and white miniature Dachshund, were the best of friends. They napped together, went to parties together, broke hearts with their killer poses and shared a love of Meryl Streep, all documented on Instagram by their doting owners. In September 2013 however, Sage passed away, aged 13. But thankfully for their hoards of devoted followers, the story didn't end there. After some mourning, Harlow got a new baby sister, Indiana (a beautiful brown Dachshund), and the two bonded over silly costume dress-up, blanket cuddles and New York City exploration. While more recently, a third joined the party: Reese (Lightning), a sleep-waving, speckle-tummied Dachshund puppy. Now the indelible trio rule the Instagram roost, so without further ado, here's a selection of our favourite moments from the account's history.
