For this week's dose of cheer, we've turned to ingenious Tumblr The Kitten Covers and it doesn't disappoint. The premise is simple enough – find kitties that parody the figures on iconic album covers, superimpose them onto the original and there you have it. But the covers' creator Alfra Martini of aymvisuals, is a master of her craft: there's not a dodgy cut and paste job in sight and the kittens she finds are so perfectly reminiscent of the faces and poses with which we are familiar that the results are hilarious and mind boggling all at once. From Katti Smith's Horses to David Meowie's Aladdin Sane, and an amazing cat meme of Andy Warhol's The Velvet Underground and Nico banana, here's a selection of our favourites guaranteed to make you smile.
