As Dazed Media expands its story with China, Jefferson Hack, Adrian Joffe, Thomas Shao and Xuan Feng hosted a cocktail at Dover Street Market Paris celebrating Dazed, AnOther, Another Man and Nowness

AnOther Magazine has a growing family. On 28 June during Paris Fashion Week men’s, Dazed Media’s UK titles – Dazed, AnOther, Another Man and Nowness – rubbed shoulders with their Chinese publications at Dover Street Market Paris for The China Edition. The cocktail was hosted by Jefferson Hack, Adrian Joffe, Thomas Shao and Xuan Feng, the evening brought together editors, collaborators and friends from across Dazed Media, Huasheng Media and Meta Media Group.

Held across Rose Bakery and the courtyard, the evening gathered the titles' extended family, including Susannah Frankel, Alexander Fury, Imruh Asha, Dan Cui, Ellie Grace Cumming, Habi Diallo, Audrey Hu, Gavin Humphries, Bunny Kinney, Jeff Lee, Ester Mejibovski, Monica Mong, Marios Mystidis, Mia Shen, Ted Stansfield, Jack Sunnucks, Nate Tian and Lawrence Xiao. They were joined by guests including Michèle Lamy, Stéphane Ashpool, Han Chong, Yu Masui, Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, Marc Ascoli, Martine Sitbon, Jeff Mills, Saul Nash, Mindy Seu, Blake Abbie, Lux Gillespie, Alexander Roth, Deto Black, Goldie Williams Vericain, Oscar Ouyang, Louie Banks and Eudon Choi.

For AnOther, the evening arrived at a significant moment. Founded in 2001, ten years after Dazed & Confused, the magazine celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Another Man followed four years later, bringing the title’s sensibility to menswear. In 2024, the family expanded again with Another Man China and Dazed MENA, while AnOther China Edition, launching with its first issue in the autumn, marks the next chapter in Dazed Media’s story with China. Nowness, the independent video channel initiated by Hack in 2010, has also had a China edition since 2017.

To mark the occasion, Dazed Media collaborated with Alix Ross of Farmer’s Daughter on bespoke, limited-edition bags, shown alongside specially designed Dazed China and Nowness China tote bags, as well as limited-edition zines and magazines from across the Dazed Media, Huasheng and Meta Media Group portfolio. Guests drank margaritas and palomas courtesy of Tico Tequila, ate seasonal dishes from culinary studio Reussette – among them mini tacos and bell pepper and tomato confit tartlets – and listened to a DJ set by Louise Chen.
