An exhibition at Dover Street Market Paris during Paris Photo celebrates the latest issue of Another Man, featuring a Tatras special shot by Paul Kooiker and original photography by JH Engström, Thomas Mailaender and Chardchakaj Waikawee
Paul Kooiker, known for his provocative and surreal exploration of the human body, identity and voyeurism, captures the spirit of the Washington DC punk scene in his portrait series of author, musician and filmmaker Ian Svenonius, who wears Tatras.
Kooiker’s story for Another Man Volume II Issue IV, will be showcased at Dover Street Market Paris during Paris Photo, alongside other shoots from the edition by JH Engström, Thomas Mailaender and Chardchakaj Waikawee. The exhibition will open from 15-19 November at DSMP and will be free to view for the public.
For the issue, Waikawee roamed the historic streets of Bangkok with stylist Ai Kamoshita, capturing the unique faces and street scenes that make the city so unique. In a humorous and rich investigation into contemporary masculinity for the issue, French multimedia artist Mailaender curated a fascinating array of characters, set pieces and cinematic scenarios.
The team remember director, writer and artist Pier Paolo Pasolini, 50 years since his passing, in a retrospective guest-edited by Conor Donlon with tributes from Olivia Laing, Willem Dafoe, Eileen Myles, These New Puritans and more. Photographer JH Engström, renowned for his emotionally charged and deeply personal visual narratives, retraces Pasolini’s steps through Ostia, a small coastal town near Rome, where Pasolini was killed.

Another Man Volume II Issue IV is an exploration of masculinity through the eyes of its creative team. The issue sees convention-defying filmmaker Jim Jarmusch tell Hannah Lack about his creative roots in 1980s New York, his decades-long friendship with Tom Waits, and his bittersweet gem of a film Father Mother Sister Brother. Meanwhile, Mexican artist Ana Segovia discusses his newest series Ramón, a dazzling and unapologetic glimpse at the dark eroticism underpinning cowboy dress.
Paul Kooiker’s Tatras special featuring Ian Svenonius for Another Man, alongside other special features from the issue, will be on display at DSMP from 15-19 November 2025 (11am-7pm Saturday-Wednesday; 12pm-7pm Sunday).
