At 180 Strand, Anna Cleveland celebrated her debut book I’m Nobody! Who Are You? with an event attended by Edward Enninful, Katy England, Mert Alas and more

Last night in London – just days after her triumphant run modelling over fashion week for brands like Valentino and Thom BrowneAnna Cleveland celebrated the launch of her new book I’m Nobody! Who Are You? with a star-studded event at 180 Strand.

Hosted by Dazed Media CEO and co-founder Jefferson Hack and luxury boutique hotel Monteverdi Tuscany, guests were welcomed at 180 Loft, which was lovingly adorned with bespoke installations and bouquets by Lily Evangeline – the founder of flower studio Lys – who drew inspiration from the beauty of Tuscany. The Italian region served as a stunning backdrop for the Assouline-published photographic diary book, which is a collaboration with Italian photographer Carlotta Bertelli.

In a mix of striking images of the Dutch model, alongside insightful diary entries, the book is an arresting insight into the cultured mind of one of this generation’s most in-demand models. The title borrows from a work by prolific 19th-century poet Emily Dickinson – words which have become “more beautiful, insightful and true over time.” Anna Cleveland graced the cover of AnOther Magazine’s Autumn/Winter 2022 issue in an editorial captured behind the scenes at John Galliano’s most recent Maison Margiela Artisanal show, for which she played a pivotal role in the special, cinematic production.

In attendance were guests from all over the fashion world, including British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, stylist Katy England, photographer Mert Alas, world-renowned milliner Stephen Jones and fashion designer Dilara Findikoglu, along with other acclaimed creative figures such as Wilson Oryema, Stanley Buchthal, Aindrea Emelife and many more. Guests were served a menu by esteemed head chef Johnnie Collins of 180 Store and Oakley Court, while Soho House mixologists provided an array of wines, proseccos and signature cocktails. Monteverdi gifted each of the guests a complimentary night stay at Monteverdi Tuscany, a fragrance and a copy of the book.
