Last night, Another Man and Jil Sander hosted a cocktail party to celebrate the launch of the Summer/Autumn 2026 issue, featuring Kim Gordon who wears the brand’s S/S26 collection photographed by Marie Valognes and styled by Ellie Grace Cumming

Yesterday evening, guests from across the city’s fashion, beauty, music and culture scene flocked to the Jil Sander flagship store on Bond Street to celebrate the launch of the Summer/Autumn 2026 issue of Another Man.

On the issue’s cover, Kim Gordon wears Jil Sander SS26, photographed by Marie Valognes and styled by Another Man’s editor-in-chief Ellie Grace Cumming. Mediated by Durga Chew Bose in the issue, Gordon speaks to Jil Sander creative director Simone Bellotti about how they keep their creative channels open and protect their instincts and desires, as they continue to practice their art forms. They delved into the value of mistakes and what they’ve learnt from them, as they touch on fashion, music and more. “I always try to remind myself to make art as if I don’t know what art is,” Gordon tells Bellotti.

At Bellotti’s S/S26 show in Milan, Gordon’s voice carried through the room, delivering a prose text on home, memory and the spaces that shape us. The same idea echoed its way to London, the Bond Street store becoming a kind of home for the shared Jil Sander and Another Man communities.Simone Bellotti and Ellie Grace Cumming welcomed guests including: Mura Masa, Kiki Willems, Jonas Glöer, Cora Corre, Jordan Grant, Elfie Reigate, Qendresa, Sebastian Konrad, BINA, Lea Ogunlami, Nimi Blackwell and Georgie Hobday; who all attended wearing Jil Sander Spring/Summer 2026.

Glasses were raised and cocktails flowed – spring pea gin and tonics, each specially blended by Malik Acid; fresh rosé from Domaine de Triennes. Restaurateur Jackson Boxer served seasonal dishes, among them pea and salted lemon tarts; chalk stream trout with bonito mayonnaise and lemon; and Brixham crab with chicory and preserved tomato. Softi and Coby Sey brought the vibes with DJ sets that ran into the night. The moment was preserved by photographer Dave Bennett.

Guests spilt out onto the street as the venue packed out, spotted amongst them: Susannah Frankel, Katie Shillingford, Ted Stansfield, Coco Capitán, Frank Lebon, Gareth McConnell, Ancuta Sarca, Tallulah Harlech, Princess Julia, Rhea Dillon, Oda Jaune, Ida Immendorff, Benedict Brink, Laurence Passera, Lucas Oliver Mill, Christie Leigh Chung, Thomas Kwofie, Maddi Jean Waterhouse, Xiaoqiao Wang, Reuben Larkin, Jesse Glazzard and Gray Wielebinski.

The creative team behind this issue is expansive. Escape and desire were themes that ran deep through its pages, its scope spanning the globe – from Tokyo, Los Angeles, Paris and Salvador da Bahia to Tennessee, Harlem, Navajo Nation, Milan, Paris, Cape Town and Athens. Timed with a solo show at The Modern Institute this June, David Wojnarowicz’s urgency feels undimmed as Olivia Laing revisits his life and work. Elsewhere, painter Pol Taburet opens up to Jack Mills ahead of his Villa Medici debut. In the middle of their biggest tour to date, the duo behind LA band The Hellp talk to Shaad D’Souza (in attendance) about their contradictory sonic universe and their breathtaking third album, Riviera. The issue also features fashion stories from Keizo Kitajima, Shotaro Yamaguchi, Jack Pierson, Jerry Stafford, Ai Kamoshita, Julie Joubert, Motoyuki Daifu, Jordan Duddy, Momo Okaube, Jim Mangan, Nancy Rhode, Reto Schmid, Ola Ebiti and many more. The issue is out now.

Quite fittingly, the party came just two days after Kim Gordon’s 73rd birthday. So here, a toast to Kim.
