Dear iDEALS, On Friday, September 14 Vicky Kaya welcomed the world of fashion at the Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya in order to celebrate the graduation of the 2011-12 students. Meanwhile, special projects of the graduates were presented: costumes, photographs, documentaries, collages and the magazine of the year.

More specifically, the section of photographs of Vangelis Kiris «20's Reftlections» along with the photos of Genevieve Majari «Balkan» and "Votanical Gardens» were displayed next to costumes created by students at the Fashion Workshop under the supervision of Nicholas Georghiou. A documentary on Yiorgos Eleftheriades in which the designer’s colleagues, journalists and friends speak, was also presented. Finally, there was the presentation of «Forward» magazine, the final project of the fashion journalism course, which was realized under the supervision of Mia Kollia.

During the celebration the names of 4 students who will attend the year 2012-13 for free, as their tuition will be covered by Vodafone, were announced. More than 400 guests enjoyed the show: graduates with their families and friends, journalists representing all the media, with which the graduates are already cooperating (Madame Figaro, VIMAdonna, Marie Claire, Gynaika, Votre Beaute, Vogue, Miss Bloom ), stylists, photographers, designers, artists and entrepreneurs.

Among the guests were: Nicos Perakis, Vagelis Kiris, Yiorgos Eleftheriades, Deux Hommes, Vassilis Zoulias, Orsalia Parthenis, Mara Desypris, Yatzer, Mi Ro, Helena Skoula, Yiorgos Makelakis, Thanasis Krikis, Mara Karetsos and the teachers of Fashion Workshop by Vicky Kaya, Freddy Kalobratsos, Mia Kollia, Nicholas Georghiou, Dada Ioannidou, Genevieve Majari, Elena Mavromichali, Ioanna Peppa, Katia Trakada, Kelly Stavropoulou, Vanda Yiannara and John Sarlis. ***We thank the Tsantali company for the “CaraMELO” wine and the Fresh Pastry Shops for the sweet treats.

On September 21st, the second open day is organized in the FWBVK premises for all those who are interested in attending this year’s class.
