Yes, as well-travelled as I am abroad, I'm afraid the same can't be said for my own country. It was literally a month ago that EJ of Style Salvage took me to Liverpool for the first time in my adulthood. Nottingham is basically the fun place that a gaggle of my friends went to for uni whilst I resolutely stuck with London, afraid that beyond the M25, I'd be bereft and lacking in all areas, which I've come to hear is a complete fallacy.
I'll confirm that when I make my way up to Nottingham for a Blogging Masterclass talk at Topshop on Wednesday along with Stevie from Discotheque Confusion. They say 'Masterclass' but we all know an an hour long talk would never suffice as a good enough class that warrants the prefix 'master' and of course would never be able to fully cover a topic like fashion blogging. Still, we'll do our best to cover general ground and let the Q&A session get to the nitty gritty, par for the course of these talks about fashion blogging. Stevie and I will be doing the same thing on Thursday 17th March between 6pm and 7pm at the Liverpool Church Street store too if you're around that way.
Whilst I'm happy to expand my beyond-M25 travel repetoire, I am gutted to be missing the Pamflet girls' first ever proper salon on Wednesday night in London with special guest-speaker Luella Bartley. All tickets are sold out I'm afraid so you'll have to bang on the doors on the night. It'll be fun and games down south, whilst Stevie and I squirm and blush in our chairs up north...
P.S. I realise Nottingham and Liverpool aren't 'up North' in the correct geographical sense. It's just err...in the Northerly direction for me... I also think going to Finchley/High Barnet is going 'up North'.
