>> If you can't get to the Emma Cook sample sale to get hold of some animal-themed japes which quite often pervade Cook's collections (is anyone excited over the fact that the woodland animal heads that she created for the Topshop Unique A/W 10-11 show are ACTUALLY going into production?), then I've found me a cutie that is on pre-order - an anticipation retail trick that has ya pulling out your purse more frequently.  I don't know a great deal about Fairground other than it's Australia-based (though for some reason, I got confuzzled between a sub-brand of British brand Motel that also bore the same name as well as the fact that Fairground's e-store is listed in GBP...).  Fairground is aiming to be a label that supposedly delivers 'designer' collections at 'mainstream rulers' prices.  An overly ambitious claim perhaps but packing design into a low prices is what they have done with this Bunny Got Nailed piece that was introduced in the S/S 10 collection and worn on the cover of SIA's new album as well as by Marina and the Diamonds at Glasto...

... and now it continues for A/W 10-11 in a texture-heavy, nubbly grey which is now available on pre-order on the e-store...

I'm a predictable sucker for bunny ear and this piece seems like a happy marriage between a Kigu suit and a cosy cardi...

Why pray tell am I writing about cosy cardis whilst I'm sweltering in humid Montreal...?  Because I've had tour guides telling me of a white-covered paradise in minus 20 temperatures.... MINUS 20 - I just can't comprehend it without some form of cosiness backing me up...
