when esquire heard that ken was making his big scene debut in disney/pixar’s toy story 3, their style team went into overdrive for his first ever style makeover - and he’s wearing bespoke versions of fall/winter 2010/11 collections exclusively made in miniature for him by: gucci, prada, paul smith + burberry prorsum
ken says of the shoot: “it was beyond personal shopper, and each designer was highly sensitive to my masculinity - quality design really suits me!”

ken in burberry prorsum: barley cotton canvas overcoat, grey cotton utility shirt, black wool pants, black leather boots
esquire’s editor-in-chief, jeremy langmead says: “it was great to work with such a style icon as ken - if you thought the metrosexual was dead, ken proves otherwise - there were no tantrums, although he did spend a little longer in hair and make-up than is usual”

ken in gucci: cream suede trench coat, grey cashmere turtle-neck sweater, white wool slim pants, dark brown calf-length boots, tortoiseshell aviators, beige weekend bag
michael keaton who provides the voice for ken in the movie, a character he connected with from the start, says, “he’s fantastic - i love this guy - he’s emotional - he’s crazy about barbie and he’s got a lot of outfits – a lot of outfits”

ken in prada: camel wool jacket, beige wool sweater, blue cotton shirt, black wool pants, brown leather shoes, camo print leather bag / barbie in Prada: pink gabardine camo coat, brown leather heels, burgundy/brown leather handbag
