THE LOOPING BRIDGE, SARAJEVO
A simple design can help reshape the infrastructure of a city, and in Sarajevo, a stunning looping bridge was recently designed by three Bosnian design students and completed outside the Academy of Fine Arts. The students, Adnan Alagić, Bojan Kanlić and Amila Hrustić, won a competition to design the bridge over 5 years ago, and just recently saw their design come to fruition. The bridge is called Festina Lente, which means "make haste, slowly" in Latin.
