Following on from the menswear shows in Paris, AnOther consider the varying prints and colours for S/S15

From Walter Van Beirendonck’s jacquard florals to Louis Vuitton’s chevron prints, Paris S/S15 was a vivid, textured display of rich colours and craftsmanship. Kris Van Assche channelled maritime nostalgia and illustrated doodles at Dior, while Juun.J was a poetic spread of starry, galactic illustrations and prose. Kolor’s vivid bursts touched on tie-dye, polka dot and streamline colour blocking, while Raf Simons pulled on intimate photographs tracing back to his childhood. Elsewhere, Rick Owen’s illustrative tapestries referenced a series of paintings by model and close friend Benoit. There were strong Japanese and Indian influences amongst the collections, which also heavily featured denim and sportswear silhouettes. Here, AnOther presents key swatches from the collections.
