AnOther consider character casting at DKNY's debut London S/S15 presentation

For S/S15, DKNY took their menswear presentation to London, in a high-tech display of baseball shirts, raglan sweaters, pea-coats and rubber. The label, which until now has been firmly rooted in New York, called upon an array of British musicians, artists and personalities to model the collection, which included Rafferty Law, Ash Stymest and Daniel Bamdad. The result was a transatlantic hybrid of urban creativity: American sportsman meets the modern gentleman. "We wanted to celebrate individuality and the eclectic spirit," advises casting director Anthony Conti. Here, AnOther caught up with some of the boys post-show.

RAFFERTY LAW, student, model
What were you wearing?
A black baseball shirt, black trousers and plimsolls.

What keeps you going during fashion week?
Getting different jobs and meeting new people, I like that it’s different every time.

What are you most looking forward to this summer?
Amsterdam with my mates and Glastonbury.

Who are you most looking forward to seeing at Glastonbury?
Jack White or Disclosure.

JACKSON HALE, model

How did you enjoy the show?
I liked it a lot, it was my first presentation so I’m not really used to it but it was really nice, and the clothes were sick as well.

What were you wearing?
A collarless jumper, kind of like a baseball jersey, with a suit jacket made from athletic material, and big buckled shoes.

What keeps you going during fashion week?
Mango Aloe Vera drink with the pieces of Aloe Vera in it, that is what keeps me going definitely.

What are you most looking forward to this summer?
Relaxing, chilling out.

TOM GASKIN, circus artist
How did you enjoy the show?
Pretty cool. It was nice and it felt good.

What were you wearing?
A collarless shirt and jumper on top, with slip-ons.

What keeps you going during fashion week?
It’s hard to eat sometimes as you are running around all over the place so sometimes I just go home and order like two pizzas. There is also free food at most of the shows, so I stock up on free shit.

What are you most looking forward to this summer?
Performing at Boomtown and maybe Latitude.

ASH STYMEST, musician

What were you wearing?
A baseball top, grey pants. It was dope.

What keeps you going during fashion week?
Red Bull. This is the only show I’m doing, but Red Bull always keeps me going.

What are you most looking forward to this summer?
Just making music, that’s all I do. I live a boring life these days. I’m working on a few projects.

Where do you like to hang out in London?
I love the Holy Arms, it is where I always used to go.
