Each month, AnOther's editors give their fashion recommendations. March's highlights include Guy Bourdin and Louis Vuitton exhibitions and the release of the S/S12 edition of Another Man...

Guy Bourdin Exhibition, until 10 March
At the Michael Hoppen gallery, the Guy Bourdin exhibition is a chance to view a number of rarely-seen works by the hugely influential (and equally subversive) fashion photographer whose surreal and erotically charged work continues to delight and intrigue.

Ford Coppola's Palazzo Margherita
Today marks the opening of Francis Ford Coppola’s latest venture: the Palazzo Margherita private resort, situated in the small town of Bernalda, Southern Italy (the birthplace of Coppola’s grandfather). The palace, built in 1892, has been totally renovated by Coppola and design partner Jacques Grange and resounds with the director’s immaculate good taste – from the Moroccan-inspired, frescoed ceilings and beautifully tiled floors to the hidden private gardens and secluded swimming pool.

Peter Cook: Genius at Work - BFI Film Season, 1 – 21 March
Peter Cook - who would have been 75 this year - was a mercurial comedic talent: arguably the brightest star of a remarkable generation of brilliant comedy practitioners who emerged from the Oxbridge fringe tradition. This month, the BFI is screening some of his most famous works, such as Not Only But Also, with Dudley Moore, while also exploring his back catalogue; from cult hit The Rise and Rise of Michael Rimmer, to Peter Cook: Oddities and Rarities, a delve into the more eccentric performances.

Film on the Rocks Yao Noi, 9 – 13 March
This March, Dazed Group are partnering with Film on the Rocks Yao Noi, an annual celebration of cinema, taking place on the Thai island of Yao Noi. This year's curators — acclaimed Thai director Apichatpong Weerasethakul and Tilda Swinton — have brought together luminaries from across the cultural spectrum including Waris Ahluwalia, Rikrit Tiravanija, Ole Scheeren and Lucrecia Martel,  as well as emerging filmmakers and artists for a dynamic programme of film screenings, installations, panel discussions and workshops taking place amid the island's magnificient natural environment.

Liam Gillick: Scorpion or Felix, 2 March – 14 April
Prolific artist Liam Gillick has recently showcased his stunning accessories collection, LiamGillickForPringleOfScotland, in collaboration with fashion house Pringle, but March sees him return to art proper in an exhibition at Zurich's Galerie Eva Presenhuber. With the title taken from Marx's lost humorous novel, it is a multifaceted collection of works that can be interpreted very differently through a variety of forms: either as objects, texts or as items to play with.

Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs Exhibition, 9 March
The much-anticipated exhibition at Paris' Les Arts Décoratifs will open its doors on March 9. Curated by Pamela Golbin, it is a comparison and analysis of the iconic pair's exceptional contribution to fashion, as well as a consideration of the industry's evolution over the century that separates their lifetimes. The display will include a selection of Vuitton's celebrated trunks and many of Jacobs's most famous designs from his 6-year reign at the French fashion house.

The 2010/2011 Feltron Biennial Report
The latest report from product designer and self-professed data lover Nicholas Feltron is out now. Filled with intriguing facts and figures about Feltron’s day-to-day existence (from the 26,015 songs he listened to in 2010 to the number of miles he walked in 2011) and rendered to graphic perfection, it looks to “visualise how his personality varies based on location and company".

Another Man, Spring/Summer 12, March 16
The latest issue of AnOther Man comes out March 16, featuring Garrett Hedlund – star of the long-awaited film adaptation of Kerouac’s On the Road – who graces the cover in a 1950s pin-up inspired shoot. A special collector's edition featuring Kate Moss on the cover, photographed by Nick Knight and styled by Alister Mackie, is on sale now from March 2 at selected outlets.

Kinder Aggugini designs costumes for The Rite of Spring, 22 March - 1 April
Fresh from being AnOther's Guest Lover, designer Kinder Aggugini is re-envisioning the customary leotards and tutus for the English National Ballet's performance of The Rite of Spring, part of a season to celebrate the legacy of Diaghliev's infamous company, the Ballet Russes. With sketches depicting slick black body suits, complete with sheer panels and dripping in embellishments, his involvement will doubtless add a modern edge and sensuality to this anarchic piece.

Colette's 15th Anniversary Celebrations

With its brilliant and unique pick-and-mix of products (from ready-to-wear and streetwear to high-tech gadgets and delectably packaged food), Colette is one of Paris' most perfectly curated boutiques, constantly seeking to challenge and modernise traditional notions of shopping. This month marks its 15th anniversary and in celebration the store is hosting the Colette Carnival on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 March. Promising an exciting array of attractions, shopping opportunities and gourmet food and drink, it will take place in the idyllic Tuileries Garden and is open to the public from midday - 6pm on both days.
