Clare Waight Keller: I really wanted to experiment with the 'familiar' in a man's wardrobe and turn it on its head. The idea was to completely deconstruct the fabrication of classic menswear pieces such as the trench, the jean and the shirt and reconstruct them in fresh, new and inventive ways.

This season was really about looking into the classic fabrications of a man's wardrobe and giving them a new context. The idea of a total look but in an informal way was something I explored in depth, and has resulted in fabrics being used across every element. A shirt is worn under a sweater made of the shirting worn under a trench made of waxed shirting; the translation of the fabric making the familiar completely fresh and surprising.
