Deep red hydrangeas, cat-faced necklaces and mint green hairbrushes all made the cut in this week's @anotherloves highlights

This week marks the final stage in our @anotherloves A/W16 fashion week series – honing in on one designer per day and taking a look at the themes and inspirations that underscore their work. From Marni's affinity for florals to the perfect tool for a Margiela beehive, here are our top picks for your perusal.

One of the standout pieces from Vetements' S/S16 collection, this subversion of a flower-dotted prairie dress is sported by Grimes in Craig McDean's mesmerising cover story for the new issue of AnOther Magazine, styled by Alex White. The print was inspired by Georgian designer Demna Gvasalia's grandmother, and the floral aprons she would wear in his childhood. Its frilly girlishness is given a modern spin courtesy of its garish yellow hue, elongated sleeves and oversized fit.

Inspired by Marni's fondness for flowers – in particular Consuelo Castiglioni's love of hydrangeas – we took the opportunity to shine a light on one of our favourite new companies: Floom. Championing independent florists, Floom's website invites you to enter your postcode to reveal the best botanical offerings available in your local area. From decorative houseplants to beautiful bouquets, the London-based start-up has it all.

These navy mismatched sandals from Jacquemus S/S16 are top of our summer wishlist – the definition of a bold but chic statement shoe. Squares and circles retained their appeal for Simon Porte Jacquemus this season, with Tuesday's show revealing completely square suit jackets, and skirts and trousers bearing vast circular details typical of Jacquemus' playful geometry.

The geisha style, clingfilm wrapped bouffants and 1950s beehives created by Eugene Souleiman for Maison Margiela S/S16 were some of the most buzzed about beauty looks of last season. Souleiman is Galliano's go-to man when it comes to hairstyling. "The first couture show for Margiela with John in London was my favourite show I've ever worked on," Souleiman told AnOther in a recent interview. "I look at it as a milestone in my career. I’m very honoured to be part of the Margiela/Galliano family." Of course, it's no mean feat to recreate such show-worthy styles oneself, but key to any attempt to do so is a good hairbrush, and we can't get enough of this gorgeous mint green one by June Ainscough – made in Britain by traditional manufacturers.

J.W. Anderson's reign at Loewe has spawned many a novelty animal accessory, from panda purses to elephant bags. For A/W16, however, there is only one animal on his radar: the cat, which appeared throughout this morning's showcase of the collection in the form of feline-faced pendants hanging from bold (highly covetable) necklaces. The handpainted leather version seen here is part of Steven Meisel's new ad for the house, which continued its tradition of releasing a preview of the campaign – once again produced by Anderson and Parisian designer stalwarts M/M (Paris) – a season ahead of its wide release.
