A/W15 was a Dries Van Noten season that was dedicated to the independence of women (Hanne Gaby literally mouthed the words to the Destiny's Child hit as she walked down the runway to it). From Portishead to Blondie, acapella anthems left just enough room to hear the rustling of sequins in a collection that had elaborate, mourning-gown embellishments paired with utility chinos and canvas. We asked Antoine Harinthe to document the moments before the lights were theatrically raised on a collection that showed Dries at his finest.
