The Instagram account of entertainment photographer Dave Benett is one you don't want to miss
Sometimes you stumble upon an Instagram account that acts like a black hole, sucking you in and keeping you there – eyes glued to screen – for hours at a time. Veteran entertainment photographer Dave Benett's account is a prime example of this, loaded with images that have the power to make you squawk out loud. Since the mid-80s, when he joined the Evening Standard, Benett has been capturing celebrities at some of the world's biggest and best parties and events, aided by his knack for friendship which results in brilliantly open and candid shots. He is perhaps best known for his image of Liz Hurley in her black, safety-pinned Versace dress but as his account reveals, there are hundreds of other incredible gems in his archive. Here, we pick some of our favourites for a little Monday lift – from a tenderly embracing Kate Moss and Lee McQueen to a leg-baring John Galliano, as well as a couple of great shots of Another Man cover star Jarvis Cocker.
