This week the most Loved item on the AnOther Loves stream was a Hermès Document holder in gold Togo calfskin posted by AnOther's Interactive Art Director, Francisco Salvado. The French fashion house Hermès has established a reputation for providing impeccable leathers, garments, accessories, perfumes and other luxury goods to the highest standard. Often featuring the house’s iconic logo of a Duc carriage with horse, Hermès’ products are notable for their high finish and luxurious qualities. Established in 1837 by Thierry Hermès, the company started out by creating the finest wrought harnesses and bridles for European nobleman. Today Hermès products are coveted globally with their leather goods, in particular, garnering much attention and worldwide press. Using only one craftsperson to work on one handbag at a time, hand-stitching each individual piece, they can take anywhere between 18 and 24 hours to create and are constructed using professionally treated, exotic skins and precious metals. Many of Hermès’ products have become popular through high-profile clientele such as the Kelly bag introduced in the 1930s and made popular by Grace Kelly, the Constance shoulder bag with a double strap and large H clasp, the Trim shoulder bag preferred by Jacqueline Bouvier Onassis and Birkin bag named after Jane Birkin – who co-designed the bag with company president Jean-Louis Dumas after complaining that her Kelly bag was not practical for everyday use.

Here Francisco discusses his love for Hermès and how he would use the Hermès Document holder if he were to own it.

Where and what would you use this document holder for?
It would make a perfect iPad case if it's the right size.

Do you own or wish to own any other Hermès products?
I have a few Hermès fragrances already. I would really like the Hermès x Leica camera –was hoping to get one for Valentine's but it didn't happen.

What do you find most appealing about Hermes’ goods?
They are always beautifully original.

What was the last thing you bought?
A latte from Wilton's Coffee Shop in London Fields this morning.

What would your dream purchase be?
A dream machine would be amazing.

What is your favourite online shop?
I like LN-CC.com at the moment, particularly their book section.
