In our fourth and final behind-the-scenes look at KM3D-1 we speak to the creative team. Using Kenneth Anger and experimental film references, fashion stylist Alister Mackie wanted to find clothes that would suit Kate, and "she would like, would work on film and convey the story." Stating "nobody brings clothes to life like her," he explains that it would be a "whole other shoot if it were a different model." Particular considerations had to be taken when filming in 3D: avoiding sequins on the clothes, "because they reflect light in a way that doesn’t help." And for make up artist Petros Petrohilos precision was important, "because 3D is very, very detailed – it reveals every pore." Hair stylist Sam McKnight, who has been working with Kate for over a decade, understands how she moves, "the little angles she likes to take" and the way her hair "behaves." Although working as normal he explains that the high-tech cameras pick up the hair in a very different way.
