AnOther explore the Resort collections, modelled by the season's brightest new faces

As the S/S15 shows drew to a close in October, AnOther couldn’t help but be slightly blown away by the wealth of great New Faces, breathing fresh life into fashion week. In celebration of the season’s new girls, AnOther asked casting director Noah Shelley to pick his favourites for a Resort-led shoot styled by AnOther's deputy fashion editor Nell Kalonji.

"When casting something like this, it is not just about who had the best runway season," explains Shelley, "but also how to almost show a cross-section of the kind of girls that represented the season; some of the aesthetic characteristics we saw emerging. "There were so many great new faces, almost a wealth of riches really, that choosing just four for this shoot was surprisingly difficult. While youth is an inherent part of this industry, it was still a conscious decision to pick models who were not too childlike. Strength on the runway, regardless of age, is important. Strength and character were so present this season, and without being necessarily hard or extreme. The girls in this feature are a hopefully a perfect mix of that sensibility”

From patterned Miu Miu knits to Saint Laurent bell sleeves, Resort 2015 offers a nostalgic blend of floral prints and 70s swirls, alongside utilitarian shirts and relaxed tailoring. Presented in an old-school index card format, here is AnOther’s guide for getting to know the season's freshest faces.
